James Welling: The Mind on Fire

American artist James Welling emerged in the 1980s as part of the 'Pictures Generation', a group of New York artists famous for their pioneering use of photography.
His exhibition at MK Gallery brings together a hundred and fifty of Welling’s early, experimental and abstract works from this period.
