Aaron Head: And

8 February - 3 March 2013

Preview: 7 February 5-8pm / All Welcome

MK Gallery Project Space presents And, an exhibition of film and sculpture by artist Aaron Head. Devised in conjunction with Lost and Found, MK Gallery’s Young Person’s Project, this new assembly of films, meanderings and found material features playful interruptions and interventions into narratives and the meanings that they generate.

And will evolve during the course of the exhibition, augmented with a variety of programmed events, unscripted installations and embryonic film screenings.  This includes The Immortality of Milton Keynes on Saturday 2 March (1-2pm and 3-4pm) a free, narrative trail for members of the public, devised and led by Aaron Head. Part psycho-geography, part 'tourist trail', this hour-long walk (beginning and ending at MK Gallery) will combine objective and subjective knowledge, historical notes, and anecdotal musings in an illuminating verbal account of Milton Keynes’ long association with Immortality. It builds on the success of a recent, similar narrative trail Head devised for Bedford, called Something About Prose.
