Festive Road

Transforming the Learning Journey

1 March – 1 April 2012

This March, Milton Keynes based carnival arts organisation Festive Road presents an exhibition at MK Gallery Project Space, showcasing work they have been delivering to children and young people from schools in the region over the past few years.  The project space display will feature six case study areas; recycling, painting and drawing, green science, performance, visual narrative and carnival.

Festive Road’s hands-on and inventive projects range from costumed carnival parades, the building of large-scale structures, to shadow puppetry and science. They have taken place in a wide variety of education and community settings, involving young people in creative learning experiences that encourage them to enquire, imagine and have fun.
