Self-led Exhibition Tour

Using our Exhibition Resource Packs, schools can book on to lead their own tours for free. A preparatory visit to the exhibition is recommended.

Creative Interpretation Exhibition tour

Groups of all ages can book on for a guided tour of the main gallery exhibitions with one of our specially trained Creative Interpreters.  

Cost: £1.50 per student

Duration: 1 hour

Capacity: 30 pupils/1 class

Min charge: £25



Artist-led tour and workshop

We work closely with a team of artist-educators to create a specially designed tour and workshop for each main gallery exhibition, drawing out key themes and artistic techniques in the show. The sessions are led by a practicing artist and are suitable for Foundation Stage to Key Stage 3 students. To find out what the current session is or to book on please use the Booking Form.

Cost: £4 per student

Duration: 2 hours

Capacity: 30 pupils/1 class

Min charge: £120


Bookings must be made at least 14 days in advance.



Tailored artist-led tour and workshop 

If you would like your pupils to explore particular themes or materials linking to the curriculum and learning outcomes which are currently not covered by our regular Artist-led tour and workshop, MK Gallery also offers tailored artist-led sessions for schools and groups. Using the Booking Form, provide as much information as you can about what the objectives and outcomes for the session are and MK Gallery will select an artist who can create a workshop session incorporating those themes. 

Cost: £6 per student

Duration: 2 hours

Capacity: 30 pupils/1 class

Min charge: £150

Bookings must be made at least 21 days in advance.
