Plan your visit
We offer free introductory tours for all Key Stages which provide an overview of the key themes and ideas of the exhibition. Additionally we can arrange artist-led workshops and activities for students.
To make the most out of your school trip we highly recommend a preparatory visit by the teacher accompanying the group. This can be done either during the exhibition preview, or in a separate gallery visit in advance of the date of your school trip. Depending on the current exhibition, it may be possible to adapt the tour and/or activities to complement current themes and ideas being studied within school - this should be discussed prior to your visit.
Depending on the age and interest of the group, the visit will last between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. Class groups of up to 30 can be accommodated. If you wish to bring a larger group, please discuss this when booking the visit.
Please note: Supervision of those under 16 is required at all times. A teacher-student ratio of 1:6 is required for children under the age of 11, and 1:10 for 11-16.
