Live Music

Solus Rex, Ten and Treasure Teeth

Thursday 7 April / Doors open 6.45pm / Free

Fans of the mid 1990s band Stereolab can catch one of its former members, Duncan Brown, at MK Gallery on 7 April, when he premieres his latest project, new band Solus Rex. Bassist Brown says “I’m pleased to be performing in MK. It’s great that there is this experimental programme night each week at MK Gallery allowing people like me to showcase my work”.

Solus Rex

Ten are an experimental, ambient band from Leeds. Their sound combines electronic keys, shoegaze noise and percussion with the acoustic sounds of glockenspiel and a string quartet to create beautiful soundscapes that move from slow, eerie and melancholic to pulsating and optimistic.

Treasure Teeth are a London-based AV duo who produce charming, off-kilter, electronic ditties. For fans of High Places and Lucky Dragons.
