Dancing Brick and Caroline Devine, the two most recent recipients of the Milton Keynes Community Foundation Arts Bursary, present ideas and early work-in-progress from their latest performance collaboration Captain Ko and the Planet of Rice.

This new theatre piece is the company’s response to our anxiety towards ageing and our fear of forgetting, told through the poetic prism of science fiction. It is about recordings, memory, frontiers. It is a study into neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s, and how humans cope when faced with these strange realities.  Expect snippets of sound, images and performance from what promises to be a poignant and beautiful new play.
