“Annie Lewandowski strips things down to their bare essentials with an eerie accuracy, and in doing so makes my hair stand on end. Beautiful songs of today and tomorrow, unsentimental and direct - highly recommended for cleaning out the cobwebs!”

Fred Frith (Henry Cow)

Powerdove is Annie Lewandowski. Born and raised in the Midwest but currently based in the UK, she has played alongside and recorded with  members of Hanway Toof, Xui Xui and The Curtains as well as improvising on piano and accordion  with such luminaries as Fred Frith, Charles Hayward and the London Improviser’s Orchestra.

Harry Taylor (Action Beat, Bad Body) returns to Scratch Nights for another set of dark acoustic guitar floating over the top of operatic samples, electronic noise and field recordings.
