Thursday 13 October / 6.45pm, First performance 7.15pm / Free

An opportunity to enjoy performances from a diverse selection of sound artists.

UK-based Australian Robert Curgenven works with harmonics, textures and resonance through instruments/ objects, in spaces and places, but also in time.

For her performances, London-based artist and curator Rie Nakajima creates architectural spaces and constructs sounds within these spaces, sometimes using assembled objects to serve as sound makers.

Critically acclaimed London and Tokyo-based Japanese sound artist Manabu Shimada uses computer technology for his performance and installations. At MK Gallery Manabu will be collaborating with Daiki Ichikawa on visuals.

Hill/Simpson is an ongoing project exploring the graphic score by sound artists Jonny Hill and Edd Simpson. Recent performances include the Unrealised Projects vol.4  launch at MK Gallery, and Fabrica, Brighton.
