Exhibition/Networking Event

Hark! Presents: Unfinished Business

Thursday 5 April / 6.30pm / Free

HARK! invites emerging contemporary artists working in any medium to present unfinished work in a pop up exhibition for one night only.

This free event will be an opportunity for critical discussion, peer review and a chance for the participating artists to experiment and gain feedback in a supportive and friendly environment. We'll encourage discussion around content, form and display; artists will install their work throughout the evening whilst being free to chat, mingle and play with ideas.

If you're interested in coming along and displaying your work, just let us know by sending us 200 words about your practice, two images of the piece you want to install and any technical requirements for installation (MK Gallery can provide some basic tools) to hark.artists@gmail.com All you need is some unfinished work and the willingness to talk about it. Alternatively, just pop along and join in the discussion!

What is HARK! ?

Formed in 2011 as a collaboration between Milton Keynes-based artists Tara Williamson and Hannah Gaunt, HARK! is committed to enabling the development of contemporary creative practice and addressing the long term artistic concerns of individuals within a group context. HARK! is open to emerging contemporary artists and practitioners based in Milton Keynes and its surrounding region who share our vision to create a supportive network of peers.

Our Front of House Co-ordinator and local artist, Tara Williamson, talks about this upcoming Scratch Night event at MK Gallery.
