MK calling Exhibition Cycle Tour

MK Calling Exhibition Cycle Tour

Saturday 27 July 2013 / 2pm – 4pm / No booking required but bring your own bike

Can you ride a bicycle and are you curious about art?  If so, then why not bring your bike along to MK Gallery on Saturday 27 July and join a band of like-minded people for an informal tour of the current MK Calling exhibition, followed by a gentle cycle along the Grand Union Canal towpath to Great Linford Park, where Artworks MK’s Director Emma-Jayne Taylor will provide a tour of a further nine MK Calling exhibits at their site.

Drinks and a variety of refreshments are available to purchase at the Artworks MK Café , and for those who feel they’ve earned an alcoholic beverage at the end of the tour, the nearest pub to Artworks MK is The Nags Head in Great Linford Park. Although MK Gallery will provide someone to keep an eye on parked bikes during both tours, participants will be responsible for their own equipment and safety.

And for those who enjoy music, at 7pm in St Andrews Church, Great Linford, there will be a free performance of specially arranged compositions for Acoustic Guitars by Peter J. Taylor.  The Peter J Taylor 26 Piece Guitar Orchestra is is due to perform at MK Gallery on 31 August 2013.  More details at
