Exploring Paint with Clare Ridgeway

Saturday 7 September / 1 - 3pm / 4+ year olds and their families

Throughout September Mini Makers invites you to try your hand at a variety of activities in sessions hosted by four very different artists who are keen to share their skills.

Today's session offers the chance to take part in the creation of a collective art work using your finger-tips as tools! See what giant patterns you and your family can make, inspired by the work of Jack Brindley in the current MK Calling exhibition. Come prepared to use paint and get messy!

Arts Awards

Open to all, these Mini Maker sessions also encourage you to consider taking part in Arts Award Discover and Explore, open to all 7+ year olds.  These awards are all about taking part in, and enjoying art.  Register your interest at any Mini Makers session throughout September (a £10 administration fee applies).  For those of you already taking part in your Discover Award with MK Gallery, September offers you the chance to talk to a trained advisor at any Mini Makers session.  Come along and bring your Arts Award Log Book, share you recent arts experiences either pre or post session, and find out how you can explore a greater variety of arts opportunities around Milton Keynes.
