This documentary is the inside story of Lufufu and DJ Mark, charismatic men who have broken into the entertainment industry dubbing international blockbusters and narrating them for live audiences AKA “video jockeying” in East Africa.  This event will have fantastic food available, including butter bean and mango curry, so make sure you don’t eat before you come!


Basia Lewandowska Cummings
Basia is a film critic, editor and curator who writes for Sight & Sound, Africa is a Country blog The Wire, and Little White Lies. She is also an associate programmer for Film Africa, an African film festival held annually in London. Basia will introduce Veejays.. and talk about the influence of African filmmakers and her work as a critic and film curator.
