A Room with a View with Emma Wilde

Throughout November Mini Makers explores the traditional elements in our current Peter Dreher exhibition, introducing participants to a number of new skills and creative techniques.

This week artist Emma Wilde helps you use collage and paint to make your own living room with a window that looks out onto the world, inspired by Peter Dreher's Beachcomber Series paintings.  Decorate the interior of your room with your own wallpaper designs, lampshades, televisions and pictures and include a window similar to Peter Dreher’s from which you can look out onto your own imaginary world.

Arts Awards

Mini Maker also encourages you to consider taking part in Arts Award Discover, a national scheme open to all 5+ year olds. These awards are all about taking part in, and enjoying art. Register your interest during any Mini Makers session by visiting the Information Desk in the main gallery.  (A£10 administration fee applies to do your ‘Discover’ Award with MK Gallery.)  For further information please email
