Artist Film Screening: Casting, fixing, catching
Curated by Adam Pugh

28 November 2013 / 7pm / Free

As much as the films in this curated programme Casting, fixing, catching offer the products of observation, they also describe the act of looking itself, via surveying, documenting and chance harvesting - and in turn implicate us as viewers.

Adam Pugh is a curator and writer based in Norwich, UK. Previously director of the festival Aurora, he has since worked on projects for the Barbican Art Gallery, London Film Festival, OUTPOST Gallery, Animate Projects and the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts.

As a writer, Pugh contributes regularly to Art Monthly, and has in the past written for Tate, Vertigo magazine and others. He has devised and delivered a course around artists’ moving image, Forking Paths, Mirrored Chambers, at LUX; and delivered talks and served on international juries for various festivals and events worldwide, including Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen.
