Visual Access Tour

Monday 13 October 2014 / 2pm / Free

An audio described tour of the An-My Lê photography exhibition.

This friendly, informal exhibition tour is for blind and partially sighted visitors, as well as their carers, family members and friends. Guide dogs are welcome.

Audio describer Alex Evans will greet you in the entrance foyer and introduce the exhibition over free tea and biscuits.  You will have the gallery to yourselves as it is closed to general visitors on Mondays.  You will then visit three exhibition spaces and hear from Alex about selected works on display. No special knowledge of art is required and informal discussion is encouraged. If you have any questions about the event, or other access needs, please let us know when booking.

The tour is free, but places are limited so please book in advance by contacting Hannah Gaunt at MK Gallery on 01908 558305 or email

One room in the exhibition has black out conditions for film projection purposes. Visually impaired visitors are invited to bring a companion or to book a voluntary companion using the MK Reader Service via or by calling 01908 231123 for more details of their facilitation service.
