City Club is an ambitious proposal to animate the public spaces surrounding MK Gallery and the northern end of Midsummer Boulevard. For the next 18 months, the Learning team will use the three main themes of City Club (garden, piazza and playground) as a means to explore how we use public space in Milton Keynes and how, as a community, we can engage with MK Gallery’s exciting expansion plans.

Set foot in any city and you will be surrounded by a dizzying array of sounds from beeping cars to chirping birds and beyond. Join us this April as we take inspiration from the sounds of the city in a series of fun and experimental, artist led workshops.

Urban sounds, complex architecture and constant movement are some of the defining features of our experience of the city. Join artist Carlos Cortes for a fun and multidisciplinary workshop where noise turns into music, objects become part of a new landscape and bodies and minds move and connect through a network of shared experiences.

Places are limited, and booking essential. Ensure you book the correct number of child tickets for children that you need and adult tickets for adults. The charge is payable on the door, but due to the popularity of the sessions, please reserve your tickets online. Thank you.
