From Me To You: Letter Writing Workshop

MK Lit Fest 2018 taster event

MK Lit Fest 2018 taster event:

From Me To You: Letter Writing Workshop

Thursday 14 June / 7.30pm / £7.50 (£5 concessions) on the door

A hand-written letter can change the life of someone feeling isolated through illness, providing the connection back to the real world that they need. From Me to You encourages you to go retro and put pen to paper for either a friend or a stranger. Alison & Brian’s own inspiring story will surprise and delight you: letters really did change a life. Paper and pens provided: all you have to do is be prepared to rediscover the art of letter writing. All event proceeds to charity.

MK Lit Fest

A festival of books, words, writers and ideas. Five days of everything literary, bookish or wordy.Milton Keynes’ first ever Literature Festival in 2017 brought a cornucopia of the finest contemporary writing to the city. Highlights from the last edition included a performance by Linton Kwesi Johnson, two events with Michael Rosen, an interview with MK-based Sunday Times Bestselling Author Carole Matthews, the words (and music) of Terence Blacker and a special edition of Scribal Gathering. MK Lit Fest 2018 will be held in the autumn. For more details please visit:
