Leaving a gift in your Will to MK Gallery

Leaving a gift in your Will to MK Gallery

Your legacy

MK Gallery has since its inception presented a critically acclaimed programme of international contemporary art. The Gallery is established as a key cultural asset for Milton Keynes, providing access to contemporary art that inspires, informs and positively challenges local and regional audiences. MK Gallery receives thousands of visits per year and supports opportunities for everyone to enjoy art both directly and virtually. In addition to our exhibitions, we run dedicated programmes ranging from those designed for babies and their carers through to adults.

To ensure that contemporary arts provision in Milton Keynes continues to flourish, please leave a gift to MK Gallery in your Will. This gift, known as a legacy, is an excellent way for you to be remembered and for a small proportion of your assets to be used for public benefit. Legacies to MK Gallery are very gratefully received no matter the size of the gift you are able to make.

Making a legacy
Legacy gifts to MK Gallery (registered charity nr. 1059678) are free from inheritance tax and may reduce the liability of your estate to such tax. We encourage all those wanting to make a legacy gift to MK Gallery to consult a solicitor to ensure that your Will is legally valid and reflects your intentions.

Further Information
An unrestricted legacy gift to MK Gallery is greatly appreciated. If, however, there is a specific aspect of MK Gallery’s work that you would like your legacy to benefit, we would be happy to discuss this with you. Please contact Clare Wood, Head of Development regarding this or any further enquiries regarding leaving a legacy to MK Gallery.
