Through her work, Barriball magnifies seemingly incidental details of objects. This, her first major survey exhibition, brings together drawing, video, photography and sculpture made over the last decade.

Design Your MK: The Porte Cochere Project

In partnership with Milton Keynes Council, we've launced an exciting new project, Design Your MK.


We're looking for budding young artists to create exciting, colourful designs, which they would like to see installed on porte cocheres across the city. The competition opens on Monday 12 September with the four winning entries painted onto selected porte cocheres in November 2011.

Host an Exhibition at MK Gallery

We're always on the look out for proposals from schools and colleges, interested in presenting an exhibition in our Project Space. It could be a body of work produced by pupils in the classroom, or the result of a project in response to our exhibitions programme.


Previous exhibitors include; Romans Field School, Deanshanger Primary School and Leon School & Sports College.

After-School Art Club

During Spring Term, we organised two very successful after-school art clubs with Two Mile Ash and White Spire schools. Participants worked with artists Emma Wilde and Sara Kirkpatrick on a range of creative activities in mixed media.

Lost & Found Members

Young People's Project for 15-24 yr. olds

Lost & Found, the gallery’s Young People’s Project is always looking for new members to join the group.


The group offers fantastic opportunities for people aged 15-24 years to create exciting and challenging cultural projects and events with and for their peers, including visual art, music and film.

Great Art Quest

Great Art Quest is a UK-wide arts project designed by The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts. We are one of four galleries taking part this year, including Tate St.Ives, Dulwich Picture Gallery and Turner Contemporary.


Artist Edith Garcia and storyteller Yaw Asiyama will be working with pupils from local primary schools – Langland Community School (Netherfield), Water Hall Primary (Bletchley), Yardley Gobion C of E Primary (Towcester), and Ashton C of E Primary (Roade Hill, Ashton) – the outcomes will be exhibited in the Project Space in January 2012.
