Current Exhibition


Until 7 September 


This exhibition about the Greek myth of Icarus includes historical and modern paintings, drawings, prints and films by 40 artists, related to themes of falling and destruction. 


Works by Broodthaers, Constant, Dubuffet, Escher, Kandinsky, Nauman, Riley and Wool, are presented alongside a contemporary film by British artist Catherine Yass.

A looped screening of two films by Catalina Niculescu, a Romanian born German artist based in LondonSecond in Space identifies the archetypes of Googie architecture, whilst Present Perfect evolves around metabolist architecture.
