This spring MK Gallery presents the first solo exhibition in a UK public gallery of oil paintings by Ellen Altfest (born New York City, 1970). 


The exhibition will span 15 years, including early paintings and recent work.

A looped screening of a short film by Willard Maas, a pioneering American experimental filmmaker and poet. Extreme close-ups of nude male and female bodies, taken through a magnifying glass, are combined with a surrealist text written and read by poet George Barker.
