Looking Ahead: Future Project Space Exhibition

Story of Mum

3 May – 2 June 2013

Story of Mum, created by Pippa and Penny Best, is a (primarily online) project that shares words, photos, film and audio from mums, nans and great-grans worldwide, building an ever-growing portrait of motherhood.

Throughout May the Project Space plays host to the Story of Mum exhibition, an interactive series of events to celebrate mothers and their stories: ‘popping up’ at Milton Keynes, Penzance, London and even New York. The exhibition explores motherhood, identity and the stories we tell about ourselves through artwork created together, face to face and online. The exhibition will be accompanied by a programme of special events and creative sessions designed especially with ‘mums’ in mind. Visit Story of Mum for further details.
