What about Sunday?

What about Sunday? is the first UK exhibition by Swiss artists Silvia Bächli (born 1956) and Eric Hattan (born 1955). The exhibition includes 100 drawings by Bächli made over the last 25 years and some of Hattan’s trademark videos and humorous installations incorporating caravans, lamp posts and Christmas trees.

Public Art and EU Funding

Presented by On the Verge in association with MK Gallery

Wednesday 13 February / 10am - 5pm (arrivals and coffee from 9.30am)

Tickets are free but must be pre-booked as places are limited.


This one-day seminar about public art and socially engaged practices, focuses on pan-European collaboration and access to EU funding. It provides a rare opportunity to hear leading artists, curators and funding specialists in the field, and is open to all who have an interest in art in the public realm.


Speakers for the event include Nils Norman, Kathrin Bohm, Michaela Crimmin and Christian Jankowski.

We are calling all cultural and creative people with a connection to Milton Keynes to apply for inclusion in a season of exhibitions and events in summer 2013. Please contact us if you are a painter, poet, singer, graphic designer, maybe a baker or hairdresser or involved in any other creative activity. There are no restrictions – we want to hear from you!

Young people and the arts

Listening to Young People

Thursday 7 February 2013, 12.30 – 4.30pm at MK Gallery 


This event explores how young people can work in the arts. It is organised by CVAN South East as part of its new initiative RADAR. Victoria Mayes (MK Gallery), Helen Le Broq (OYAPArts Award trainer), Tom Loake (Lost & Found mentor), and young people from Lost & Found, MK Gallery’s youth forum will be there on the day to discuss their experiences working with young people.


The meeting will be followed by the preview of a Project Space exhibition commissioned by Lost & Found.

Pushwagner: Soft City

Norwegian artist Hariton Pushwagner will be exhibiting at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam from February. The exhibition has previously been shown at MK Gallery and Haugar Vestfold Art Museum in Oslo.
