This exhibition was selected from an Open Call for submissions, and explores the breadth of creativity in Milton Keynes.

MK Calling Selects - Part 2

The second in a two part programme of short YouTube films selected by artists involved in MK Calling 2015.


The videos include a cat watching the arthouse film Andrei Rublev, and 2014 footage of Tomioka, a Japanese town which was abandoned following the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in 2011.

20 August / Alice Boland-Rhodes, Deborah Fielding and Eleni Cay An evening of poetry and storytelling from MK Calling 2015 artists.


27 August / Improv Night An open session for musicians, sound artists and non-musicians interested in exploring improvisation.

28 August / The Falling In 1969, after a tragedy occurs at a strict all-girls school, a fainting epidemic breaks out amongst the students.

Action Beat Annual Festival

Presented in association with Fortissimo Records

Following on from the sold out 10th Anniversary special last year, Action Beat return to curate another all day festival of underground music.


Includes Action Beat  w/ G.W. Sok, Trash Kit, Americans, A.p.p.a.t, Circuit Breaker, Lake of Snakes, Spoilers, Heil Zilla, The Suns, Bad Body, and Mons Meg.

MK Gallery’s Collaborate 2015 artist in residence, Anna Sikorska, teams with dancers Eleanor Sikorski and Flora Wellesley Wesley who will lead a movement and art workshop.
