New Exhibition

Future City

6 December 2013 - 5 January 2014 


An exciting exhibition and events programme that looks back at the utopian origins of Milton Keynes in order to consider its future.  The exhibition will include architectural models and drawings of early plans for the town, resident's memorabilia, new photographs of the city by David Grandorge, and material from 6a, architects selected to design MK Gallery’s expansion plan, illuminating their design process.

MPs' Christmas Card Design Competition

A display of designs created by primary school children in Milton Keynes, as they compete for the opportunity to feature on the front of their local MPs' personal Christmas card.

Call for Collectors

This January MK Gallery Project Space will be used to explore ‘The Art of Collecting’ to complement our forthcoming Treasures in MK exhibition.  We invite any Buckinghamshire based amateur collector to propose their collection for inclusion, be it small and quirky or a theme developed to a large scale over a number of years.

MK Gallery Expansion

We’re delighted to announce a major grant towards our expansion from the Garfield Weston Foundation, in addition to grants already received from Sir Siegmund Warburg’s Voluntary Settlement and the J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust.

We have also just appointed our full project design team, comprising 6a architects, Gleeds Cost Consultancy, Momentum Engineering and Max Fordham LLP.
