City Club

City of Things opens this Friday 6 October in the centre:mk. This ambitious new artwork by composer and sound artist Caroline Devine celebrates the sounds of the unique city of Milton Keynes in its 50th anniversary year. 


On 21 October, we hope that you can join us at Feast of Fire - a free, magical and fiery celebration for MK50. On the same day, Citizen Ship returns to Margaret Powell Square. Come and create slogans and badges.

Feast of Fire

Saturday 21 October / 6-30pm - 10.30pm / Free

Central Milton Keynes


MK50’s official free event. The city streets will be lit up by fire, pyrotechnics and fireworks with specially commissioned fire sculptures, live music, performances and The People’s Procession. 


Commissioned by City Club and produced by IF: Milton Keynes International Festival, Feast of Fire is being created especially for the city by outdoor arts experts Walk the Plank, working in close collaboration with participating artists and the people of Milton Keynes.
