This February sees the launch of our new Project Space exhibition, True Story.

Presented by MK photographic art group Catch Light Collective and locally based film artist Luke Williams, this collaborative exhibition has been created in response to our current exhibition by Gerard Byrne, Case Study: Loch Ness (Some possibilities and problems), 2001-2011.

True Story is an exploration of how found text can be interpreted in other media. Catch Light Collective used a random piece of vintage magazine text as the starting point of the process, each member individually interpreting the text in photographic images. The group then came together and developed a collective, mixed-media art collage. Without seeing the original text and photographs, Luke Williams then used the collage to create a short film.

The exhibitions runs at MK Gallery from 3 - 27 February 2011.
