A Series of three talks by contemporary artists at The University of Northampton.

Throughout March 2012 The University of Northampton’s School of The Arts is hosting a series of public lectures by three of Britain’s leading contemporary artists. The talks are part of an ongoing programme to promote debate on the issues, actions and attitudes employed in the diversity of contemporary fine art practice.

Chris Drury, John Hilliard and Ian McKeever will be talking about their own work in the context of issues related to the public understanding of contemporary art. What is it? How do we relate to it? And why should we try to understand it?

Each talk will be followed by a question and answer session and last for 90 minutes.

Chris Drury / Tuesday 6 March, 6.30 - 8pm

John Hilliard / Tuesday 13 March, 6.30pm-8pm

Ian McKeever / Tuesday 20 March, 6.30 - 8pm

The talks will take place in the main hall at Avenue Campus from 6.30pm-8pm and are open to anyone. Tickets cost £3 / £2.50 concessions, or free to University of Northampton students.
