Call for MK Memorabilia
Deadline: 15 November 2013

This December, MK Gallery presents Future City, an exhibition and public events programme that looks back at the design origins of Milton Keynes in order to consider aspects of its future, providing a context within which to consider MK Gallery’s exciting plans for expansion by 2017, coinciding with Milton Keynes' 50th anniversary.

The Future City exhibition (6 December 2013 - 5 January 2014) will include a section organised by MK Gallery's Learning Team that provides a particular focus on the social history of Milton Keynes via the presentation memorabilia gathered from the Milton Keynes community.

To this end, MK Gallery Learning Team has issued a call out for MK Memorabilia.  If you have a story about moving to Milton Keynes, a fond memory of a space, place or architectural setting, or perhaps an object, book or photograph which represents a Milton Keynes memory for you then you are invited to take part by proposing an object or story for inclusion in the exhibition.

For further information or to take part please contact Victoria Mayes via  vmayes@mkgallery.org.   Inclusion of any material in the exhibition is subject to selection by the Learning Team, and the deadline for proposals is Friday 15 November 2013.
