MK Gallery remembers Derek Walker

MK Gallery is currently raising money to remember the late Derek Walker through the naming of an exhibition space in the expanded MK Gallery.

Derek was the Chief Architect of Milton Keynes and instrumental in realising the visionary social experiment of the city. MK Gallery hopes to celebrate the late architect’s achievements with the naming of an exhibition space which will inspire new audiences to consider the impact of innovative design. MK Gallery is looking to raise £100,000 to name the gallery space in Derek’s honour.

MK Gallery’s ambitious £12m expansion is being designed by 6a architects. The project will transform the venue by increasing exhibition space, including a new multi-purpose auditorium and learning space and enhancing accessibility features to promote universal participation in the arts.

We welcome donations to the Derek Walker Fund at MK Gallery.
