John Cage: I have nothing to say and I am saying it (1990)

2 - 31 January 2015

Running time: 55 minutes

A late documentary exploring the work of maverick and highly influential American composer John Cage.

John Cage (5 September 1912 - 12 August 1992) was an American composer, music theorist, writer, and artist. A pioneer of indeterminacy in music, electroacoustic music, and non-standard use of musical instruments, Cage was one of the leading figures of the post-war avant-garde. Critics have lauded him as one of the most influential American composers of the 20th century.
