Showcase 2011: Sue Swain
Showcase 2011
Sue Swain
12- 17 August 2011
The drawings, video and etchings Sue Swain will be exhibiting are thematically linked by her investigation into measurements, distortions and memories of time as well as process and repetition. Her fascination with time is underpinned by an interest in the varying concepts of time in the Eastern and Western worlds and in pre-literate (e.g. Aboriginal and Eskimo) societies. Sue Swain was student of the year 2008 at MK College where she studied Art, Craft and Design. She has just graduated from the University of Northampton with a BA in Fine Art and begins an MA in Printmaking at Camberwell College of the Arts, London this autumn.
Showcase 2011
A series of eight, week-long exhibitions, presenting work by local students and fine art graduates in MK Gallery Project Space.
