23 July - 31 August 2018
For ages 13 - 18 / Free

This summer the Project Space will be transformed into a youth hub. Supported by MK Gallery, young people will have the opportunity to take over this space and work alongside cutting edge artists, musicians and inspiring youth mentors in the creation of a series of events or exhibitions. The Secret Self(ie) Project will be entirely youth-led, with young people guiding what happens next.

The Secret Self(ie) Project
is an opportunity to meet like-minded young people and to explore a new way of thinking about life that is more open, creative, outward looking and empowering. No previous artistic experience is needed to take part in this project. The Secret Self(ie) Project is about thinking more creatively and exploring who we really are and who we could be. During the course of the summer, each participant will discover, and find that they are respected for, their own skills and talents.

Participation in this project is completely free and anyone aged 13-18 is welcome. The project will take place throughout the summer, but participants can take part as much or as little as they like during that time.

Come along to MK Gallery Events Space on Tuesday 10 July, 6.30 – 8pm, to find out more and meet past MK Gallery youth project participants. All welcome. We hope to meet you there!
