Supports for painting have developed from rock faces through to the walls of buildings, paper, wood, canvas and different objects. Some artists create paintings that are not hung on a wall, but instead are displayed as sculptures or watched like a film. This November Saturday Studio at MK Gallery we invite you to work with a new Associate Artist each week to explore painting.
This Saturday join Artist Lee Farmer who will be taking images from nature books and some print-outs of Stubbs pictures, to make a composite, layered set of marks on a sheet of watercolour paper, then inking the marks in with pen and colouring-in with paint.
